Monday Muzak LIII: Build That Wall

Bastion is filled with artistic wonder and stylish presentation. At one point during the game, you're searching for a particular artifact. As you enter the scene, the narrator mentions a particular song. As you advance through the level more and more of the song is heard. Eventually, a young woman's vocals enter the mix. This is the first time another character's voice is heard in the game, which takes place in this catastrophe-stricken wasteland. The impact is marvelous. The presentation is dramatic. The pacing is perfect. As you reach the stage's finale you find her, alone, strummin' away on her instrument. It coincides with the rest of the game's sense of discovery. It literally brings the game's world to you.
