Output from a quick comp/value demo I did this morning for my character & world design class. I really like the idea of pairing a small character with a larger robot buddy. It speaks to that 'boy and his dog' sentiment, in a way, and exaggerates the notion by flipping the height differences of the young man and his faithful companion that follows and protects him.
I like "boy and his robot" stories, too. The metallic friend's silhouette looks intriguing.
