Factory begins like many of Hitoshi Sakimoto's works. Orchestral with a hint of technology. A brief whimsical introduction builds and falls into a deep trance-like pause. Then, the bashing and clashing comes, and the entire piece becomes very mechanical and man-made. The track served as the backdrop for a workshop of sorts. A safe house. A haven. It makes me recall moments in the game where I'd venture into the menus and crafting system just to soak up the game's atmosphere between missions.
